Privacy policy
Draft — not legal advice. This is a working document written to cover what the site actually does. India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act applies because we collect names and phone numbers. Have it checked by a lawyer before launch, and fill in the gaps marked TODO.
What we collect
When you contact us through this website, by WhatsApp, by phone or by email, we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, your phone number, your email address if you provide one, and whatever you tell us about your project.
We do not collect anything else through this site beyond anonymous usage statistics described below. There is no account to create and nothing to log in to.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, to discuss your project, and to keep a record of the conversation so that we are not asking you the same questions twice. That is all. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside our practice except where we need to — for example a consultant working on your project — and then only what is necessary.
How long we keep it
TODO — decide and state a retention period. A reasonable position: enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months; project records are kept for as long as the law requires us to hold them.
Analytics
TODO — complete this once analytics are installed. State which tool is used, that it records anonymous information such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from, and that it is not used to identify you personally.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@brickr.in and we will respond within a reasonable period.
